| The possibilities derived from tinkering with the variables in ceramic processes takes me on a journey every twist and turn of which feels like home to me. I prefer simple forms, and toying with proportions whether I’m slipcasting, handbuilding or throwing. I have come to realise how process driven I am, the journey is almost as important to me as the destination – if I ever actually arrive at one. I am currently focussing on Print On Clay Techniques at all states of the clay, particularly the layering of techniques, imagery and text to create a sense of depth and richness of surface to tell a story or create the illusion of there being one to tell. |
